The iPhone 4 is by far one of the most popular phones to date. With its unique form-factor, glass exterior and massive interior, you’re bound to love it. I love my iPhone 4, as I’m sure you do to, and I’d love a way to customize my iPhone with something more sexy. Luckily iFixIt is there with their ‘transparent back plate’ for iPhone 4.
iFixIt is a popular site, now for offering iOS device parts as well as doing their revolutionary and widely praised tear-downs. The folks over there were kind enough to send a back-plate for review. The back-plate is very nice. After a week of use, I’ve come to love this thing. Looking at the internals of my iOS device can be very invigorating to me; that’s maybe the geeky side of me! This transparent back-plate might not be an ‘official Apple part’, but it sure does get the job done. After-all, you’re just unscrewing two screws, sliding up and attaching the new back on.
