Beautiful IM apps are hard to find nowadays, but luckily an app called Verbs solves this problem. Verbs for iPhone and iPod touch is a beautiful and simple IM client. Even though it isn’t feature rich like some other clients, its simple interface and speed makes me continue to want to use it.
Verbs currently supports Google Talk, AIM, and MobileMe. In addition, the app offers local notifications for new messages when the app is running in the background. The beauty about this app is that you’ll continue to want to use it due to its minimal interface. It doesn’t feel cluttered and slow at all unlike some other apps out there.
For $2.99, this app is a must have for people who want a simple and gorgeous IM client. However, for “power users” this app may not provide enough features.
